Procedure for the Issuance of Special Order (S.O.)

  1. All applications for Special Orders must be submitted one month before the date of graduation by the HEI registrar to the CHEDRO using the S.O. Form together with

    • Certification that the records of students have been evaluated; that the students’ names appearing in the list have been verified against the enrolment list; that the course is under recognition

    • Form IX of the students by program

    • For graduate programs, a copy of the abstract and one (1) bound copy of the thesis or dissertation. The manuscript shall be returned to the school while the copy of the abstract shall be retained by the CHEDRO
  2. Each S.O. Form shall contain a list of not more that ten (10 )students. For less than 10 students, indicate after the last entry “nothing follows.” Should there be more than 10 students, additional S.O.Forms must be used. For each S.O. Form, indicate the number of students for which the list is valid (i.e. “valid for (number) students”).

  3. The CHEDRO will release the S.O. within five (5) working days after receipt of application.

  4. Upon the issuance of Special Order, Form IX shall be returned to the school.

  5. All cancelled S.O. must be returned to the CHEDRO within one month.
