Training Facility for Kaigofukushishi

under the Chapter on Movement of Natural Persons (MNP) Article 110.1 (f). of the Japan-Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement (JPEPA) CY 2010


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  1. 21-30 years old

  2. Graduate of any four year health related program

  3. Have a general weighted average of 2.5 or its equivalent

  4. Physically, psychologically, mentally and emotionally fit

  5. Have no pending administrative or criminal case and must not have been convicted of any crime

  6. Be able to satisfactorily show financial support for his/her study and stay in Japan

  7. Does not fall under any of the following conditions:

  • conditions for refusal of entry under Article 5 of the Japanese-Control and Refugee-Recognition Act

  • belong to any form of military service

  • pregnant


DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS

  1. Accomplished application form

  2. Original and certified photocopy of birth certificate (NSO) issued within one year

  3. Original and certified photocopy of Transcript of Academic Records (Baccalaureate/Graduate)

  4. 2 certified photocopies of Diploma (Baccalaureate/Graduate)

  5. Latest NBI clearance (valid for the last 6 months)

  6. Medical certificate from DOH retained hospitals/clinics (for short-listed applicants only)

  7. Updated bio-data/resume (Spell out acronyms of organizer/s and topic/s or subject/s of the training programs)

  8. Letter of reference from school or most recent employer

  9. For exemption from 6 months Japanese Language Training

  • Certificate of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (Level 1 or 2) or Certificate of Learning for 6 months or more at a Japanese Language School designated by the Japanese Ministry of Justice

  1. Proof of financial capability/Certificate of sponsorship from an individual or institutional sponsor


CONDITIONS FOR FILIPINO APPLICANTS

  1. Shoulder the tuition and living expenses to study and stay in Japan or secure a sponsor.

  2. Shoulder cost for application documents and other related expenses such as passport, visa, photos, medical check-up and other certificates, domestic postage to send application forms to CHED and domestic travel expenses to attend interviews and pre-departure orientation seminars, and travel expenses to the international airport at the time of departure

  3. Not allowed to work during the six-month free Japanese Language Training

  4. Must satisfactorily meet the scholastic requirements and institutional conditions required in the study of the Kaigofukushishi course

  5. Satisfactorily meet such other conditions stated under the MOU between CHED and JICWELS and Information Guide to MOU between CHED and JICWELS
